Spectators: 7172 (Terracing: 5381, Seating: 1649, VIP seats: 142) Selamicesme's Güntekin Tunçkan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gökalp Afacan might have been able to make a better finish in the 2nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Faruk Uçur. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gökalp Afacan ran back to his position shaking his head. Gökalp Afacan came free with the goalkeeper in the 3rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Faruk Uçur could save by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gökalp Afacan got free with Faruk Uçur in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Aytek Menderes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kabahor A.Ş's supporters rose to their feet, but Aytek Menderes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faruk Uçur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fevzi Uzcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Hüsnü Taş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute Yılmaz Kızılateş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hüsnü Taş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Güntekin Tunçkan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Yılmaz Kızılateş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gökalp Afacan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faruk Uçur having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Güntekin Tunçkan in the 27th minute of play forced Kabahor A.Ş's goalkeeper Hüsnü Taş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gökalp Afacan got free with Faruk Uçur in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 35th minute Yılmaz Kızılateş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hüsnü Taş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Aytek Menderes came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Kabahor A.Ş fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aytek Menderes couldn't finish the play. Selamicesme's Faruk Uçur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aytek Menderes in the 45th minute of play. Faruk Uçur was a little too slow when Aytek Menderes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aytek Menderes to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Sabahattin Hastimur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Selamicesme's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kabahor A.Ş the free kick. After 52 played minutes Selamicesme got a freekick which was hit by Sabahattin Hastimur. After a defensive mix-up in Kabahor A.Ş's zone, Yılmaz Kızılateş stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hüsnü Taş came out of the goal and Yılmaz Kızılateş tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 56 minutes into the match, Kabahor A.Ş's goal looked a bit too open when Güntekin Tunçkan came free, but Hüsnü Taş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Güntekin Tunçkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Selamicesme's Fevzi Uzcan got a free kick in the 68th minute. Faruk Uçur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aytek Menderes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Faruk Uçur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gökalp Afacan in the 74th minute of the match. With a little luck, Kabahor A.Ş's Hüsnü Taş got control of the ball when Yılmaz Kızılateş tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 82nd match minute, Selamicesme was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fevzi Uzcan to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute Güntekin Tunçkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hüsnü Taş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yılmaz Kızılateş's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, Hüsnü Taş skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Gökalp Afacan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kabahor A.Ş's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
