Ahmet Gökalp Nahit who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Yaşar Nuri Levent when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Bayındır Fırıncıoğlu's late challenge caught a Maslak's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bayındır Fırıncıoğlu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st minute, Bayındır Fırıncıoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Kemal Semdin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 46th minute of the game. One of Maslak:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Köycegiz SK:s goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Akşemseddin Berin to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Köycegiz SK's Selman Tanyıldız got a free kick in the 56th minute. If Ahmet Gökalp Nahit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st match minute, Maslak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uğur Sabit to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sümer Hirfanlı during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Köycegiz SK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
