In the 15th minute, Süruri Murtaza made a precise shot to the right of Faruk Uçur. Selamicesme's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Tunç Peyami in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Faruk Uçur, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 21 minutes into the match, Tunç Peyami notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Selamicesme's Faruk Uçur. Faruk Uçur was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Güntekin Tunçkan in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arif Ozan Ünalan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27th match minute, Dumlupinar SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Karluk to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute, Dumlupinar SK's Muzaffer Battal seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Muzaffer Battal the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Dumlupinar SK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Muzaffer Battal had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Dumlupinar SK getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Muzaffer Battal hit a great ball. Başaran Temizer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faruk Uçur having to interfere. Anıl Özdoa kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. A collision led to Selamicesme getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Fevzi Uzcan hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Süruri Murtaza was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Selamicesme's zone, Mustafa Karluk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faruk Uçur came out of the goal and Mustafa Karluk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 55 minutes into the match, Dumlupinar SK's Başaran Temizer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Faruk Uçur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Faruk Uçur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Başaran Temizer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mustafa Karluk hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute, Süruri Murtaza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Faruk Uçur was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Selamicesme's goalkeeper Faruk Uçur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Selamicesme's Sabahattin Hastimur got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 75 minutes in the game, Süruri Murtaza dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After having played for 78 minutes, Başaran Temizer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dumlupinar SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Başaran Temizer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Faruk Uçur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Başaran Temizer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Süruri Murtaza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mustafa Karluk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Feridun Rafi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Dumlupinar SK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
