Gökçen Türek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davut Acar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baturay Karacabey in the 40th minute of play forced Trabzon's goalkeeper Gökçen Türek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute Baturay Karacabey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gökçen Türek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Baturay Karacabey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Gökçen Türek made a huge save. Erfelek JK's Mustafa Hamit Orkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Satıkbuğra in the 60th minute of play. When Baturay Karacabey came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Erfelek JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baturay Karacabey couldn't finish the play. With his leg Gökçen Türek managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Erfelek JK's Baturay Karacabey fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Trabzon's goalkeeper Gökçen Türek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Baturay Karacabey struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Gökçen Türek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Erfelek JK. Erfelek JK's Baturay Karacabey got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The long shot by Agah Yalınalp in the 86th minute really tested Gökçen Türek's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Gökçen Türek was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Necmettin Koçaş showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 91 minute of play. The Trabzon fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Erfelek JK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
