Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mustafa Barış Toycan started the match with the kick off. If Yılmaz Kızılateş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FC MERT 04 booed when Selamicesme was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Bilge Akbey didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Yılmaz Kızılateş got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 29 minutes, Güntekin Tunçkan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Selamicesme's supporters crossed their fingers, but Güntekin Tunçkan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yılmaz Kızılateş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vito Morrison having to interfere. In the 37th match minute, FC MERT 04 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fikret Falcıoğlu to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC MERT 04's goalkeeper Vito Morrison, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 45 played minutes Selamicesme got a freekick which was hit by Anıl Özdoa. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Güntekin Tunçkan made a kick off. Faruk Uçur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Barış Toycan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yılmaz Kızılateş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Selamicesme's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Mustafa Barış Toycan scored to the left of an out of position Faruk Uçur, making the score, 1-1. Abdulkadir Safi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 78 minutes into the match, FC MERT 04's goal looked a bit too open when Yılmaz Kızılateş came free, but Vito Morrison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Selamicesme booed when FC MERT 04 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atacan Tolunbay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Faruk Uçur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustafa Barış Toycan, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Barış Toycan in the 91st minute of play forced Selamicesme's goalkeeper Faruk Uçur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Faruk Uçur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Barış Toycan in the 95th minute of play. After 97 minutes, Fikret Falcıoğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC MERT 04 and the Selamicesme players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 97th minute, Fikret Falcıoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
