In the 7th minute, FC MERT 04's Mustafa Barış Toycan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gökçen Türek. Gökçen Türek yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Abdulkadir Safi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 14th minute Mustafa Barış Toycan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gökçen Türek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abdulkadir Safi got free with Gökçen Türek in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ali Satıkbuğra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th match minute, FC MERT 04 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dursun Keykubad to maneuver through the defense. Uğur Karakaya took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vito Morrison. FC MERT 04's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erenay Ülgener in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vito Morrison prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Ali Satıkbuğra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Satıkbuğra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vito Morrison having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, FC MERT 04's goal looked a bit too open when Erenay Ülgener came free, but Vito Morrison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Erenay Ülgener had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erenay Ülgener made a kick off. Mustafa Barış Toycan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdulkadir Safi in the 58th minute of play forced Trabzon's goalkeeper Gökçen Türek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gökçen Türek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Barış Toycan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute Mustafa Barış Toycan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gökçen Türek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the last second Vito Morrison throw himself and got hold of the ball when Erenay Ülgener in the 70thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After a rather tough play, FC MERT 04's Veli Geylani got a free kick in the 77th minute. Abdulkadir Safi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Gökçen Türek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 86 played minutes Trabzon got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Koralp Özarkın. Mustafa Barış Toycan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gökçen Türek having to interfere. FC MERT 04's Veli Geylani got his second yellow card of the match in the 95th minute. The referee ordered Veli Geylani off the ground. Veli Geylani kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Erenay Ülgener's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vito Morrison read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Trabzon players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC MERT 04.
