Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Uğurcan Yaybüke kicked off to start the match. Samim Taceddin charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Samim Taceddin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 2nd minute of the game. One of Gençlerbirliği FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sakaryaspor:s goal. In the 11th minute Seyhun Şahabeddin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mirza Bekata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Anıl Arda Özkul left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sakaryaspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Timur Öğüç who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Abdurrezzak Canıtez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sakaryaspor's Mirza Bekata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Seyhun Şahabeddin in the 18th minute of play. The supporters of Sakaryaspor booed when Gençlerbirliği FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Akın İlbey didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Giray Utku shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abdurrezzak Canıtez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 26 played minutes Gençlerbirliği FC got a freekick which was hit by Akın İlbey. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Uğurcan Yaybüke in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abdurrezzak Canıtez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ferhat Mustafa took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abdurrezzak Canıtez. Abdurrezzak Canıtez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Ferhat Mustafa scored 6-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abdurrezzak Canıtez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Uğurcan Yaybüke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Abdurrezzak Canıtez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferhat Mustafa struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Abdurrezzak Canıtez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sakaryaspor. Abdurrezzak Canıtez made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Ferhat Mustafa sent off a good shot on target. Anıl Arda Özkul blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abdurrezzak Canıtez having to make a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Seyhun Şahabeddin to make the kick off. When Sakaryaspor's Uğurcan Yaybüke in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 62 minutes, Akın İlbey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gençlerbirliği FC and the Sakaryaspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62nd match minute, Gençlerbirliği FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Akın İlbey to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anıl Arda Özkul in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abdurrezzak Canıtez saved Gençlerbirliği FC from getting behind. 67 minutes into the match, Ferhat Mustafa notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Gençlerbirliği FC's Abdurrezzak Canıtez. Abdurrezzak Canıtez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Anıl Arda Özkul's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abdurrezzak Canıtez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Uğurcan Yaybüke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Semavi Cemre took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abdurrezzak Canıtez. Abdurrezzak Canıtez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. Timur Öğüç might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abdurrezzak Canıtez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Timur Öğüç ran back to his position shaking his head. When Ahmet Kadri Eralkan fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gençlerbirliği FC's protests and gave Ahmet Kadri Eralkan a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Gençlerbirliği FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Ahmet Kadri Eralkan hit a great ball. After having played for 80 minutes, Timur Öğüç managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sakaryaspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timur Öğüç was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 81 played minutes Gençlerbirliği FC got a freekick which was hit by Emrullah Tezal. A collision led to Gençlerbirliği FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Kayacan Toran hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Timur Öğüç managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sakaryaspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Timur Öğüç was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdurrezzak Canıtez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anıl Arda Özkul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Abdurrezzak Canıtez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
