Namık Aras's late challenge caught a Lacivert FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The Lacivert FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Tuncay Kutsalmis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aycan Demiralp in the 32nd minute of the match. Tuncay Kutsalmis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rahim Yalavaç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 45 minutes, Burhanettin Ertüze managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pamukova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Burhanettin Ertüze was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 48th minute of the match Güralp Urangu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tuncay Kutsalmis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yasin Çalımbay to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Lacivert FC's Adnan Ulutaş sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tuncay Kutsalmis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tuncay Kutsalmis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adnan Ulutaş, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Tuncay Kutsalmis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet İlhan Sirri in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Rahim Yalavaç made a precise shot to the right of Tuncay Kutsalmis. Pamukova's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Lacivert FC fully deserved thier win.
