Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Güneş Taluy during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 6th minute, one of Refahiye JK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Refahiye JK. The referee gave Gürsu a penalty, 8 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Berkan Doğanay, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Refahiye JK's Mümtazer Alp. 0-1. Mümtazer Alp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İsmail Cem Yiğit in the 11th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, İsmail Cem Yiğit left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gürsu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 19 played minutes Refahiye JK got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Çağrı Tunçkurt. Asım Başaran kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Gürsu's Salih Kemal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Gürsu from getting a goal against them. Salih Kemal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yağız İnanoğlu in the 35th minute of play. Asım Başaran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Gürsu's goal looked a bit too open when Yağız İnanoğlu came free, but Salih Kemal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Refahiye JK's Mümtazer Alp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İsmail Cem Yiğit in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kamil Engiay made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Savaş Akçam left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Refahiye JK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Gürsu's Salih Kemal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yağız İnanoğlu in the 59th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Savaş Akçam managed to get in a good position for a shot. Refahiye JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Savaş Akçam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Salih Kemal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 69th minute, Gürsu's Atıf Şemsi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mümtazer Alp. Mümtazer Alp yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. In the 72nd minute, İsmail Cem Yiğit ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mümtazer Alp was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Tansu Yolaç could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Mümtazer Alp made a huge save. Savaş Akçam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Salih Kemal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Refahiye JK's goal looked a bit too open when Kamil Engiay came free, but Mümtazer Alp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mümtazer Alp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atıf Şemsi in the 92nd minute of play. In the 97th minute Cenap Enfal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mümtazer Alp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gürsu played a much better game than Refahiye JK and deserved their victory. The Refahiye JK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
