Salih Kemal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anıl Arda Özkul hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Gürsu's Kamil Engiay slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mirza Bekata. That made the score 2-2 after 41 minutes of play. Mirza Bekata made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when İsmail Cem Yiğit sent off a good shot on target. Semavi Cemre hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Anıl Arda Özkul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Kamil Engiay made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kamil Engiay in the 54th minute of play forced Sakaryaspor's goalkeeper Mirza Bekata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Uğurcan Yaybüke took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Salih Kemal to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Kamil Engiay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gürsu's supporters rose to their feet, but Kamil Engiay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mirza Bekata breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd match minute, Sakaryaspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tarık Adahan to maneuver through the defense. Kamil Engiay struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Mirza Bekata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gürsu. In the 90th match minute, Gürsu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kamil Engiay to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, Ferhat Mustafa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Gürsu's goalkeeper Salih Kemal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferhat Mustafa. After 96 minutes, Uğurcan Yaybüke made it 2-5 with a short kick to the right side. Gürsu's Salih Kemal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Sakaryaspor supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sakaryaspor would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
