Kirecburnu's Andaç Mümin got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Gaziosmanpaşa sk's Bedih Durkaya got a free kick in the 12th minute. Ersin Yıldızhan got in the 16th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Bahattin Pekdeger handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Ahmet Harun Umut made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Baransel Aydoğan sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Güner Deniz during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 41st minute, Ersin Yıldızhan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bahattin Pekdeger was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Gaziosmanpaşa sk's Bahattin Pekdeger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andaç Mümin in the 44th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ersin Yıldızhan to make the kick off. Bahattin Pekdeger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ersin Yıldızhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bahattin Pekdeger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ersin Yıldızhan in the 57th minute of the match.
