Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) Arın Ulucağ started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd match minute, Gaziosmanpaşa sk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İsrafil Sabit to maneuver through the defense. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arın Ulucağ couldn't finish the play. In the 19th match minute, Gaziosmanpaşa sk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bedih Durkaya to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 20 minutes, Ergin Baydak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Devrek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ergin Baydak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Gaziosmanpaşa sk's zone, Arın Ulucağ stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bahattin Pekdeger came out of the goal and Arın Ulucağ tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute, Ergin Baydak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ergin Baydak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bahattin Pekdeger having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Devrek's Arın Ulucağ slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bahattin Pekdeger. That made the score 1-0 after 37 minutes of play. Cevher Başol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şakir Safir having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cevher Başol was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Devrek's goalkeeper Şakir Safir had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baransel Aydoğan. If Baransel Aydoğan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Şakir Safir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cevher Başol in the 67th minute of play. The Devrek fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Devrek's Ergin Baydak looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ergin Baydak in the 72nd minute of play forced Gaziosmanpaşa sk's goalkeeper Bahattin Pekdeger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baransel Aydoğans short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Şakir Safir to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, Devrek's Şakir Safir got control of the ball when Baransel Aydoğan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Feyyaz Esenboğa kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Şakir Safir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cevher Başol in the 81st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ahmet Peyam during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Devrek's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
