The RedBull FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Süreyya Kalagay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceyhun Necat in the 18th minute of play. With a little luck, RedBull FC's Süreyya Kalagay got control of the ball when Naim Öztanır tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mazhar Seci's late challenge caught a RedBull FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mazhar Seci helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th minute, Mazhar Seci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ceyhun Necat came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Yildirim FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ceyhun Necat couldn't finish the play. Yildirim FK's Ceyhun Necat got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yildirim FK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
