The referee gave Kartal Yenisey a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Datca SK getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Kartal Yenisey hit a great ball. If Saltuk Sefa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 79 minutes, Saltuk Sefa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Datca SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saltuk Sefa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Datca SK defense, Necdet Hanönü kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Berke Cevher. The Datca SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Berke Cevher should have stopped the shot. Melik Taşboğa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Datca SK's Saltuk Sefa got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tolga Akgül sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Datca SK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
