Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bekir Ilımlı made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in Rumelihisari's zone, Ejder Tulunay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rüknettin Pekgöz came out of the goal and Ejder Tulunay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rüknettin Pekgöz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rauf Kutay's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Ejder Tulunay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Rüknettin Pekgöz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Rauf Kutay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tire's supporters rose to their feet, but Rauf Kutay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rüknettin Pekgöz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mümtaz Tunç hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. A collision led to Rumelihisari getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Bekir Ilımlı hit a great ball. Tire's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Bekir Ilımlı 25 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Rumelihisari's Rüknettin Pekgöz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rauf Kutay in the 30th minute of play. Ejder Tulunay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Rüknettin Pekgöz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rauf Kutay in the 36th minute of play forced Rumelihisari's goalkeeper Rüknettin Pekgöz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ejder Tulunay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rauf Kutay to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Tire's goal looked a bit too open when Mete Vefik came free, but Tayfur Altın reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Ejder Tulunay put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Rüknettin Pekgöz. Rauf Kutay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rüknettin Pekgöz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Ejder Tulunay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Rüknettin Pekgöz made a huge save. After 62 played minutes Rauf Kutay rounded Rumelihisari's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. Rauf Kutay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Tire getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Güney Onsal hit a great ball. Rumelihisari were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after Tire's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tan Tanbolat took the corner. Tan Tanbolat made a great header on Rumelihisari's corner, it was just that Tire's Tayfur Altın managed to reach the ball for a save. When the match was over Tire could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rumelihisari throughout the match.
