The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Tylol Hot's İzzettin Zabit nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Atilla Tarkan Tunalı made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Tylol Hot's Yüce Çelikel got a free kick in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sait Irgatbaşı in the 9th minute of play forced Tylol Hot's goalkeeper Yıldıray Özcebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute Sinan Tezer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yıldıray Özcebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Tylol Hot getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Yüce Çelikel hit a great ball. When Pazaryolu's Sinan Tezer in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tylol Hot's goalie prevented a goal. In the 16th minute, Sait Irgatbaşı got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tylol Hot's Yıldıray Özcebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sinan Tezer in the 17th minute of play. İzzettin Zabit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Atilla Tarkan Tunalı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Coşkun Aşkın came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Tylol Hot fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Coşkun Aşkın couldn't finish the play. Pazaryolu's Atilla Tarkan Tunalı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Coşkun Aşkın in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute Coşkun Aşkın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilla Tarkan Tunalı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tylol Hot's İzzettin Zabit got a free kick in the 26th minute. If Sait Irgatbaşı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 30thth minute of the game Sait Irgatbaşı who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tylol Hot's Yıldıray Özcebe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 31 played minutes Pazaryolu got a freekick which was hit by Selami Kantürk. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sinan Tezer in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yıldıray Özcebe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sait Irgatbaşı scored 2-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yıldıray Özcebe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kartal Tublek during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kartal Tublek kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Coşkun Aşkın was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Remzi Tuğaltay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sinan Tezer in the 57th minute of play forced Tylol Hot's goalkeeper Yıldıray Özcebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sait Irgatbaşı could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Yıldıray Özcebe made a huge save. A collision led to Tylol Hot getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Tansel Özgen hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Sinan Tezer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yıldıray Özcebe was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. In the 68th minute, Pazaryolu's Sinan Tezer dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. Sait Irgatbaşı who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Yıldıray Özcebe when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 78th minute, Sait Irgatbaşı ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yıldıray Özcebe was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. With a little luck, Tylol Hot's Yıldıray Özcebe got control of the ball when Sait Irgatbaşı tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84th minute, İzzettin Zabit made a precise shot to the right of Atilla Tarkan Tunalı. Pazaryolu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. Sinan Tezer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yıldıray Özcebe having to interfere. If Sait Irgatbaşı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pazaryolu's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
