The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Rauf Kutay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The supporters of Ostim booed when Tire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafet Oymen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tire's Tayfur Altın played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hayrettin Yılkan in the 13th minute of play. Hayrettin Yılkan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Tayfur Altın tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Akgün Felek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rauf Kutay, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 23 played minutes Rauf Kutay rounded Ostim's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. If Rauf Kutay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. Ostim's Akgün Felek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Orhan Kaymaz in the 29th minute of play. Başaran Bayındır hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The supporters of Tire booed when Ostim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. After a defensive mix-up in Ostim's zone, Rauf Kutay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Akgün Felek came out of the goal and Rauf Kutay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute, Ostim's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ejder Tulunay fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Ostim's zone, Rafet Oymen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Akgün Felek came out of the goal and Rafet Oymen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rauf Kutay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rauf Kutay to strike the kick off in the second half. Ejder Tulunay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Akgün Felek having to make a save. Tayfur Altın showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aşık Tan in the 58th minute of the match. If Rauf Kutay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the game, Başaran Bayındır was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ostim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tire the free kick. After some careless play in the Ostim defense, Ejder Tulunay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Akgün Felek. The Ostim fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Akgün Felek should have stopped the shot. Akgün Felek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ejder Tulunay in the 69th minute of the match. Ostim's Akgün Felek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ejder Tulunay in the 70th minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Ostim's goal looked a bit too open when Rauf Kutay came free, but Akgün Felek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Aşık Tan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute Ejder Tulunay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akgün Felek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ejder Tulunay might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Akgün Felek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ejder Tulunay ran back to his position shaking his head. Rauf Kutay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the game, Tire's Ejder Tulunay nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Akgün Felek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. There was no doubt that Tire were the better team. Tire's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
