Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mustafa Haydar Özsel kicked off to start the match. If Oğuzkan Erben had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Eski JK's Yahya Kemal Önateş got a free kick in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Haydar Özsel in the 7th minute of play forced Eski JK's goalkeeper Cumhur Taravet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the match, GÖZTEPE FK's goal looked a bit too open when Oğuzkan Erben came free, but Sabahattin Koyak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sabahattin Koyak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oğuzkan Erben, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oğuzkan Erben got free with Sabahattin Koyak in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 15 played minutes GÖZTEPE FK got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Emin Erkılıç. Sabahattin Koyak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oğuzkan Erben in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Okan İbrahimoğlu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GÖZTEPE FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, GÖZTEPE FK's Mustafa Namık Ünaldi got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute of the match, Oğuzkan Erben tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sabahattin Koyak saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mustafa Haydar Özsel struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Cumhur Taravet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GÖZTEPE FK. A collision led to Eski JK getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Çağlar Tekinsoy hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Oğuzkan Erben made the kick off in the second half. If Mustafa Haydar Özsel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 56 in the game by Okan İbrahimoğlu from a close distance when the talented Cumhur Taravet managed to make a qualified save. Eski JK's players were relieved. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yılmaz Bayrak during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Koray Hirfet, 58 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Okan İbrahimoğlu in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cumhur Taravet, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sabahattin Koyak came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Eski JK's Uğuralp Özbal. But to his dismay, Uğuralp Özbal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Uğuralp Özbal put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Sabahattin Koyak. Mustafa Haydar Özsel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cumhur Taravet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Cumhur Taravet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa Haydar Özsel in the 83rd minute of the match. Cumhur Taravet made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Okan İbrahimoğlu sent off a good shot on target. 95 minutes into the game, Ali Orhan Süreyya was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GÖZTEPE FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eski JK the free kick. In the 96th minute Koray Hirfet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabahattin Koyak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The GÖZTEPE FK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing GÖZTEPE FK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
