After 4 minutes, Fazıl İşçen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MersinGSYurdu and the Allgator FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 4th minute, Fazıl İşçen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 5 minutes in the game, Adil Kalgay fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tayfun Ülkü having to interfere. The supporters of Allgator FC booed when MersinGSYurdu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sadri Şemseddin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute, Alican Malgır ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Birol Koray was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Aziz İsmihan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alican Malgır fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birol Koray having to interfere. Birol Koray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nebi İzmirli, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Ahmet Arif Canpolat charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ahmet Arif Canpolat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 28 minutes into the match, Allgator FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nebi İzmirli came free, but Birol Koray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alican Malgır in the 31st minute of play forced Allgator FC's goalkeeper Birol Koray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32 played minutes Allgator FC got a freekick which was hit by Serter Suphi. In the 35th minute Adil Kalgay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tayfun Ülkü saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alican Malgır in the 37th minute of play forced Allgator FC's goalkeeper Birol Koray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MersinGSYurdu's Tayfun Ülkü played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adil Kalgay in the 40th minute of play. Aziz İsmihan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adil Kalgay was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 48th minute. Allgator FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adil Kalgay made a kick off. When MersinGSYurdu's Nebi İzmirli in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Allgator FC's goalie prevented a goal. A beautiful save bye MersinGSYurdu's goalie prevented a goal. Zeynel Tuğra's late challenge caught a Allgator FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zeynel Tuğra helped the player get up and apologised. Birol Koray made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Nebi İzmirli sent off a good shot on target. 69 minutes into the game, Mahmut Perker was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Allgator FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MersinGSYurdu the free kick. Mahmut Perker kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. The supporters of MersinGSYurdu booed when Allgator FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serter Suphi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Alican Malgır kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Birol Koray. That made the score 0-2 in the 77 minute of play. Birol Koray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nebi İzmirli in the 89th minute of the match. Adil Kalgay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tayfun Ülkü having to interfere. MersinGSYurdu's Tayfun Ülkü played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aziz İsmihan in the 94th minute of play. Nebi İzmirli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The MersinGSYurdu supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing MersinGSYurdu would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
