Gencal Taşgan kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the game, Kahta FC's Sezen Eldem nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cláudio Guerra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Cláudio Guerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sezen Eldem in the 20th minute of the match. If Akay Zeki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cláudio Guerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sezen Eldem in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Mehmet Emre Sulhi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kahta FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Altay the free kick. In the 30th match minute, Altay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saltuk Vedat to maneuver through the defense. Cláudio Guerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sezen Eldem in the 32nd minute of the match. If Utku Sadir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Gencal Taşgan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sezen Eldem who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Cláudio Guerra when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 40th minute, Kahta FC's Sezen Eldem ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cláudio Guerra. Cláudio Guerra yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After a rather tough play, Kahta FC's Karadeniz Barkın got a free kick in the 59th minute. When Kahta FC's Utku Sadir in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Altay's goalie prevented a goal. In the 69thth minute of the game Sezen Eldem who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Altay's Cláudio Guerra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 81 minutes of play, Kahta FC's Sezen Eldem made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cláudio Guerra was left in no man's land by his defense there! 84 minutes into the match, Altay's goal looked a bit too open when Sezen Eldem came free, but Cláudio Guerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Kahta FC booed when Altay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saltuk Vedat didn't get a good kick on the ball.
