Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Arda Baybars Toköz kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alican Malgır in the 3rd minute of play forced Armutlu's goalkeeper Müfit Hizanlı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the MersinGSYurdu defense, Halit Fahri Tümerkan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tayfun Ülkü. The MersinGSYurdu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tayfun Ülkü should have stopped the shot. Armutlu's Artun Şahinter got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Müfit Hizanlı managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when MersinGSYurdu's Nebi İzmirli fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Halit Fahri Tümerkan hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. The supporters of Armutlu booed when MersinGSYurdu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cem Tekay didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the game, Arda Baybars Toköz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Tayfun Ülkü was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 29 played minutes MersinGSYurdu got a freekick which was hit by Berke Kocakalp. Armutlu's Müfit Hizanlı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alican Malgır in the 34th minute of play. Artun Şahinter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Tayfun Ülkü tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, MersinGSYurdu's Zeynel Tuğra got a free kick in the 39th minute. After a defensive mix-up in MersinGSYurdu's zone, Artun Şahinter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tayfun Ülkü came out of the goal and Artun Şahinter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Armutlu's Müfit Hizanlı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alican Malgır in the 45th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alican Malgır to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of MersinGSYurdu booed when Armutlu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Halit Fahri Tümerkan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Müfit Hizanlı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nebi İzmirli, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Artun Şahinter got free with Tayfun Ülkü in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 62nd minute, Artun Şahinter made a precise shot to the right of Tayfun Ülkü. MersinGSYurdu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Artun Şahinter scored 0-4 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tayfun Ülkü, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Müfit Hizanlı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nebi İzmirli in the 71st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Arda Baybars Toköz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Armutlu's supporters rose to their feet, but Arda Baybars Toköz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tayfun Ülkü breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arda Baybars Toköz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tayfun Ülkü having to interfere. When Arda Baybars Toköz came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Armutlu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arda Baybars Toköz couldn't finish the play. In the 86th play minute Artun Şahinter came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tayfun Ülkü. 0-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Artun Şahinter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Armutlu's supporters rose to their feet, but Artun Şahinter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tayfun Ülkü breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 92 in the game by Artun Şahinter from a close distance when the talented Tayfun Ülkü managed to make a qualified save. MersinGSYurdu's players were relieved. Armutlu's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
