Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mevlüt İmruz started the match with the kick off. Edip Hızarcı hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. 7 minutes into the game, one of Köse FK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Necmi Aysan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nusret Tansoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. İbrahim Efe Sinan kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. The long shot by Metin Adalı in the 13th minute really tested Necmi Aysan's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Necmi Aysan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hıncal Şahinoğlu in the 14th minute. Hıncal Şahinoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Necmi Aysan having to interfere. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Köse FK's goalkeeper Kubilay Semdin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Başkent Futbol booed when Köse FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fahrettin Tansan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute Nusret Tansoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Necmi Aysan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nusret Tansoy to make the kick off. After 54 minutes Başkent Futbol's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Karhan İzzettin who took care of the corner kick. Karhan İzzettin made a great header on Köse FK's corner, it was just that Başkent Futbol's Necmi Aysan managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mümtazer İlhanoğlu got free with Kubilay Semdin in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 87th minute, Mümtazer İlhanoğlu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Kubilay Semdin, passed just outside the right post. Köse FK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
