After a rather tough play, LA Lakers's Aydın Bakırhan got a free kick in the 2nd minute. When Çelikan Levent came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Laleli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Çelikan Levent couldn't finish the play. Utku Tarim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Akif Köksan in the 6th minute of play. 1-0 became the score in the 8th minute when Ahmet Nasir Serdinç elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Mehmet Akif Köksan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Utku Tarim having to interfere. Utku Tarim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Akif Köksan, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After 15 minutes, Süruri Memduh mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Laleli and the LA Lakers players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th minute, Süruri Memduh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the match, LA Lakers's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Nasir Serdinç came free, but Ahmet Rıfat Nedret reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Şerif Ulunay in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Utku Tarim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ahmet Rıfat Nedret showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Nasir Serdinç, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 36th minute Şerif Ulunay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Utku Tarim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind LA Lakers's goalkeeper Ahmet Rıfat Nedret, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 38th match minute, LA Lakers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Furkan Avşar to maneuver through the defense. Ahmet Rıfat Nedret was a little too slow when Ahmet Nasir Serdinç got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Şerif Ulunay to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, LA Lakers's Mehmet Akif Köksan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Utku Tarim. Utku Tarim yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. If Şerif Ulunay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Utku Tarim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Akif Köksan in the 57th minute of play. After having played for 61 minutes, Çelikan Levent managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laleli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Çelikan Levent was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. LA Lakers's Ahmet Rıfat Nedret played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Nasir Serdinç in the 63rd minute of play. Çelikan Levent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Utku Tarim made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Şerif Ulunay sent off a good shot on target. If Ahmet Nasir Serdinç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Nasir Serdinç scored 3-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ahmet Rıfat Nedret, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 79 minutes, Ahmet Nasir Serdinç managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laleli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Nasir Serdinç was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ahmet Nasir Serdinç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Ahmet Rıfat Nedret tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mehmet Akif Köksan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Utku Tarim having to interfere. If Çelikan Levent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the LA Lakers defense, Ahmet Nasir Serdinç kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ahmet Rıfat Nedret. The LA Lakers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmet Rıfat Nedret should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Çelikan Levent managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laleli's supporters rose to their feet, but Çelikan Levent was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Rıfat Nedret breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
