Sancar Pekol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Şerif Ulunay got free with Sertel Sebih in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 24th minute, Hadi Yalaza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Şerif Ulunay got free with Sertel Sebih in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mehmet Akif Köksan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sertel Sebih having to interfere. Arda Baybars Cevar hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After 32 minutes, Ahmet Ege Yılmaz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the OLağaN SüpHelileR and the LA Lakers players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, OLağaN SüpHelileR's Ahmet Ege Yılmaz got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute, Şerif Ulunay fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Sertel Sebih, passed just outside the right post. After 37 played minutes LA Lakers got a freekick which was hit by Şerif Ulunay. Sertel Sebih showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Akif Köksan, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Şerif Ulunay's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sertel Sebih firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ahmet Rıfat Nedret took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Ege Yılmaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Şerif Ulunay was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, LA Lakers's Furkan Avşar got a free kick in the 56th minute. Mehmet Akif Köksan struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Sertel Sebih didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LA Lakers. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Akif Köksan in the 65th minute of play forced OLağaN SüpHelileR's goalkeeper Sertel Sebih to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Şerif Ulunay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sancar Pekol came free with the goalkeeper in the 70th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ahmet Rıfat Nedret could save by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Şerif Ulunay in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sertel Sebih saved OLağaN SüpHelileR from getting behind. In the 74th minute Mehmet Akif Köksan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sertel Sebih saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Şerif Ulunay in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sertel Sebih prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sertel Sebih came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by LA Lakers's Mehmet Akif Köksan. But to his dismay, Mehmet Akif Köksan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 86th minute, Sancar Pekol made a precise shot to the right of Ahmet Rıfat Nedret. LA Lakers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Şerif Ulunay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Sertel Sebih tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sancar Pekol received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ahmet Rıfat Nedret came out and tried to block the shot, but Sancar Pekol slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 96th minute. OLağaN SüpHelileR were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over LA Lakers's much stronger midfield.
