Ferit Ceviz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şerif Akbatur, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Şadi Genç kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After 18 minutes, Kasım Ural mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Demirci fc and the Erdemli JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Muharrem Oncel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şamil Alpaslan having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Emir Kılıçaslan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Erdemli JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Emir Kılıçaslan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Şamil Alpaslan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Şamil Alpaslan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Muharrem Oncel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emir Kılıçaslan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Muharrem Oncel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferit Ceviz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Şerif Akbatur went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Muharrem Oncel made a kick off. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erdemli JK's Ferit Ceviz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şerif Akbatur in the 87th minute of play. Ferit Ceviz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kasım Ural in the 89th minute. If Muharrem Oncel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when İslam Selman got free with Ferit Ceviz in the 99th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
