Ferit Ceviz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Necip Acar, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 17th minute, Ediz Bakanay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sabit Tayfun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st minute, Volkan Raif left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KONYASENJERMEN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Necip Acar in the 25th minute of play forced Erdemli JK's goalkeeper Ferit Ceviz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sabit Tayfun took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ferit Ceviz. Ferit Ceviz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 31 minutes into the match, KONYASENJERMEN's goalkeeper Altan Akyüz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ediz Bakanay. The supporters of Erdemli JK booed when KONYASENJERMEN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paşa Ali Pekgöz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 32 played minutes, Erdemli JK's Ali Emir Yağıztekin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Altan Akyüz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Erdemli JK reached it. Ferit Ceviz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Volkan Raif's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Ferit Ceviz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baykam Erginer, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute, Sabit Tayfun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ferit Ceviz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabit Tayfun in the 47th minute of play forced Erdemli JK's goalkeeper Ferit Ceviz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Sabit Tayfun made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Muharrem Oncel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Altan Akyüz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sabit Tayfun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baykam Erginer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to KONYASENJERMEN getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Volkan Raif hit a great ball. Ali Emir Yağıztekin struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Altan Akyüz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Erdemli JK. After having played for 63 minutes, Sabit Tayfun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KONYASENJERMEN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sabit Tayfun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ediz Bakanay was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 64 minutes had been played. In the 65th minute, Ediz Bakanay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erdemli JK's Ferit Ceviz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Erdemli JK from getting a goal against them. Volkan Raif had several of the Erdemli JK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 73 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Ferit Ceviz as he didn't even see the shot coming. Erdemli JK's Ferit Ceviz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Volkan Raif in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Volkan Raif got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Volkan Raif had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferit Ceviz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sabit Tayfun's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Altan Akyüz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İhsan Yaybüke in the 87th minute of play. In the 91st minute Tuncay Üngörmüş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Altan Akyüz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Erdemli JK getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Tuncay Üngörmüş hit a great ball. In the 97th minute of the match KONYASENJERMEN got a corner. Erdemli JK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sabit Tayfun ran over to the corner to take the kick. Volkan Raif made a great header on KONYASENJERMEN's corner, it was just that Erdemli JK's Ferit Ceviz managed to reach the ball for a save. KONYASENJERMEN's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
