Battal Hüryaşar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gazanfer Özcan Tolgahan's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. After some careless play in the Kumru JK defense, Ataol Öztan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cevdet Özguven. The Kumru JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cevdet Özguven should have stopped the shot. 13 minutes into the match, Kartal Yuvası's Ataol Öztan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cevdet Özguven narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cevdet Özguven took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ataol Öztan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ataol Öztan might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cevdet Özguven. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ataol Öztan ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Kartal Yuvası booed when Kumru JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celal Uğurlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute of the match kaya Malkoçoğlu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cevdet Özguven showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Kumru JK defense, İsa Akdamar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cevdet Özguven. The Kumru JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cevdet Özguven should have stopped the shot. In the 38thth minute of the game İsa Akdamar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kumru JK's Cevdet Özguven was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Ataol Öztan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, Gazanfer Özcan Tolgahan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Battal Hüryaşar, 1-3. After a rather tough play, Kartal Yuvası's İsa Akdamar got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half Kartal Yuvası were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a little luck, Kumru JK's Cevdet Özguven got control of the ball when Ataol Öztan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cevdet Özguven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İsa Akdamar in the 72nd minute of play. When Ataol Öztan came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Kartal Yuvası fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ataol Öztan couldn't finish the play. Cevdet Özguven made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ataol Öztan in the 75th minute. When İsa Akdamar came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Kartal Yuvası fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that İsa Akdamar couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Kartal Yuvası could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kumru JK throughout the match.
