In the 28th minute, Ahmet Fikret Erdemer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Celtik JK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Cevdet Özguven stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Fikret Erdemer's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Mahsun Yazar struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Cevdet Özguven didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Celtik JK. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mahsun Yazar to strike the kick off in the second half. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Celtik JK's Mahsun Yazar in the 52nd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Cevdet Özguven was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Kumru JK through an amazing save. Cankut Yörük fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tuna Dikici having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Kumru JK's goalkeeper Cevdet Özguven had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Fikret Erdemer. Celtik JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Fikret Erdemer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Alphan Ulaş fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kumru JK's protests and gave Alphan Ulaş a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Kumru JK's Alphan Ulaş got a free kick in the 70th minute. Gazanfer Özcan Tolgahan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tuna Dikici showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cankut Yörük in the 78th minute of the match. Sabahattin Aktaşlı got his second yellow card in the match during the 79th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Cankut Yörük took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tuna Dikici. Tuna Dikici dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Tuna Dikici took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cankut Yörük, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
