Tayfur Ciner hit a great ball. In the 13th minute, Celal Uğurlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Selami Uluç was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Selami Uluç was a little too slow when Cankut Yörük got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 2-0. Ümit Kutan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Selami Uluç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Düzce's goalkeeper Selami Uluç had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cankut Yörük. Selami Uluç made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cankut Yörük in the 28th minute. Gazanfer Özcan Tolgahan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Cankut Yörük kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Selami Uluç. That made the score 5-0 in the 44 minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Düzce's goalkeeper Selami Uluç had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alphan Ulaş. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

In the 88th minute, Fuat Oksar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fuat Oksar came free in the 93rd minute and tried to tip the ball over Cevdet Özguven, but to the joy of Kumru JK's supporters the ball went over. For all the effort they put into the match, the Düzce players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kumru JK.
