Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Orhan Veli Salur took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orhan Veli Salur in the 5th minute of play forced Izmirspor's goalkeeper Abdulhamit Nazmi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 9th play minutes Erman Ünveren shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Abdulhamit Nazmi and just under the crossbar into goal. Abdulhamit Nazmi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orhan Veli Salur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, Göksun Şeref left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Izmirspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Izmirspor's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Orhan Veli Salur scored to the left of an out of position Abdulhamit Nazmi, making the score, 2-1. Şahap İpekçi kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Simav's goal looked a bit too open when Arcan Kökten came free, but Rafettin Selil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Izmirspor's Mustafa Barış Oba got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Orhan Veli Salur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erman Ünveren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Abdulhamit Nazmi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Arcan Kökten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dinç Uzsan hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Arcan Kökten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafettin Selil having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Abdulhamit Nazmi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orhan Veli Salur in the 52nd minute of the match. Göksun Şeref sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Izmirspor's goalkeeper Abdulhamit Nazmi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 69 minutes into the game, Erman Ünveren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Abdulhamit Nazmi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Izmirspor's Abdulhamit Nazmi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orhan Veli Salur in the 75th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Orhan Veli Salur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Simav's supporters rose to their feet, but Orhan Veli Salur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdulhamit Nazmi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erman Ünveren took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abdulhamit Nazmi. Abdulhamit Nazmi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. In the 84th match minute, Izmirspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kıvanç Göktürk to maneuver through the defense. Erman Ünveren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdulhamit Nazmi having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Orhan Veli Salur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abdulhamit Nazmi was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. When Ogün Tokel fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Simav's protests and gave Ogün Tokel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd minute, Ogün Tokel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rdth minute of the game Göksun Şeref who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Simav's Rafettin Selil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Izmirspor's Göksun Şeref in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Simav's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Simav had won after a very even match.
