Doruk Yankı might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Faruk Nafiz Egeli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Doruk Yankı ran back to his position shaking his head. Abuzer Ekinci charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abuzer Ekinci the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Nicosha FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Abuzer Ekinci hit a great ball. The audience held their breath when Ahmet İlhan Suavi in the 25th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Faruk Nafiz Egeli's left hand side. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC. Black Eagle's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tolga Şaki was slow to take the kick. During this time Nicosha FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Tolga Şaki almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC. Black Eagle's Gürsel Boysel did a great save. After a rather tough play, FC. Black Eagle's Ahmet İlhan Suavi got a free kick in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Temel Doğanlar in the 39th minute of play forced Nicosha FC's goalkeeper Faruk Nafiz Egeli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicosha FC's Faruk Nafiz Egeli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doruk Yankı in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Nicosha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Temel Doğanlar came free, but Faruk Nafiz Egeli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Temel Doğanlar might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Faruk Nafiz Egeli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Temel Doğanlar ran back to his position shaking his head. Doruk Yankı recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half FC. Black Eagle were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Nicosha FC's Faruk Nafiz Egeli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Nicosha FC from getting a goal against them. Gürsel Boysel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Okan Öztaş, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute, Cemal Kökşin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 61 played minutes Doruk Yankı could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 0-4 into the left cross. 67 minutes into the game, FC. Black Eagle's Özkan Demirdelen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Faruk Nafiz Egeli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. 71 minutes into the match, Nicosha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Atabek Sezgi came free, but Faruk Nafiz Egeli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faruk Nafiz Egeli came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC. Black Eagle's Doruk Yankı. But to his dismay, Doruk Yankı quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Nicosha FC's Faruk Nafiz Egeli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doruk Yankı in the 78th minute of play. Özkan Demirdelen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faruk Nafiz Egeli having to interfere. Faruk Nafiz Egeli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özkan Demirdelen in the 82nd minute of play. Okan Öztaş struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Gürsel Boysel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nicosha FC. 90 minutes into the match, Nicosha FC's goalkeeper Faruk Nafiz Egeli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Temel Doğanlar. FC. Black Eagle's Temel Doğanlar got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Temel Doğanlar got free with Faruk Nafiz Egeli in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over FC. Black Eagle could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Nicosha FC throughout the match.
