Gürcan Haneci took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abdulhamit Nazmi. Abdulhamit Nazmi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Gürcan Haneci managed to get in a good position for a shot. Adana Demir Spo's supporters rose to their feet, but Gürcan Haneci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdulhamit Nazmi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 33 minutes into the match, Izmirspor's goal looked a bit too open when Gürcan Haneci came free, but Abdulhamit Nazmi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Onurhan Hekimoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göksun Şeref, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. A collision led to Izmirspor getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Reşat Cangiray hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Adana Demir Spo defense, Arcan Kökten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Onurhan Hekimoğlu. The Adana Demir Spo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Onurhan Hekimoğlu should have stopped the shot. Onurhan Hekimoğlu was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Izmirspor had won after a very even match.
