Bedrettin Rehber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Bedri Erkılınç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bedrettin Rehber made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Batuhan Oğuzalp sent off a good shot on target. Sinan Nusret fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bedrettin Rehber having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Kayseri Erciyes Spor's zone, Mehmet Bedri Erkılınç stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bedrettin Rehber came out of the goal and Mehmet Bedri Erkılınç tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mehmet Bedri Erkılınç in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bedrettin Rehber, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Kayseri Erciyes Spor's Orhan Seyfi Keyfer got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gökay Kıralp kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Remzi Falcıoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aziz İrfanoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Bedrettin Rehber made an important save on a dangerous shot by Batuhan Oğuzalp in the 27th minute. If Aziz İrfanoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Batuhan Oğuzalp got free with Bedrettin Rehber in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Orhan Seyfi Keyfer put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Remzi Falcıoğlu. Bedrettin Rehber made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Batuhan Oğuzalp sent off a good shot on target. Kayseri Erciyes Spor's Bedrettin Rehber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sinan Nusret in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Kayseri Erciyes Spor were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Orhan Seyfi Keyfer made a kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Sarper Dirican was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sarayköy JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kayseri Erciyes Spor the free kick. A collision led to Sarayköy JK getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Sarper Dirican hit a great ball. Aziz İrfanoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Remzi Falcıoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mehmet Bedri Erkılınç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Sarayköy JK's Kutlu Koçarslanoğlu got a free kick in the 60th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sarayköy JK's zone, Aziz İrfanoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remzi Falcıoğlu came out of the goal and Aziz İrfanoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 69th minute of the match Zaid Aytuğ shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Remzi Falcıoğlu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Mehmet Bedri Erkılınç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Remzi Falcıoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orhan Seyfi Keyfer in the 81st minute of the match. Kayseri Erciyes Spor's Bedrettin Rehber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Bedri Erkılınç in the 83rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kayseri Erciyes Spor's Atilla Tekinel got a free kick in the 84th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Kayseri Erciyes Spor's Aziz İrfanoğlu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Remzi Falcıoğlu. That made the score 0-4 after 91 minutes of play. The Sarayköy JK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Kayseri Erciyes Spor's performance. The match ended with a win for Kayseri Erciyes Spor.
