In the 36th minute Edip İlksen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fuat Ege saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fuat Ege showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edip İlksen in the 37th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saltuk Beyhan in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fuat Ege prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alim Öksak kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 49 minutes into the match, Galatasarayburnu's Edip İlksen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fuat Ege narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edip İlksen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 74th minute Edip İlksen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fuat Ege saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, GaLaTaSaRaY's Fuat Ege got control of the ball when Alim Öksak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fuat Ege was a little too slow when Alim Öksak got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 0-5.
