Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) GaLaTaSaRaY's Kerim Gündeş started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Rafettin Adıyaman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fuat Ege saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fuat Ege made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafettin Adıyaman in the 6th minute of play. Dilaver Sayhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bektaş Bostancı in the 12th minute of the match. After having played for 14 minutes, Rıfkı Rekin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ARTVİN SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rıfkı Rekin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had been going on for 30 minutes, ARTVİN SK's Çağdaş Esenboğa got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Fuat Ege. Fuat Ege made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Kıvanç Ersayın sent off a good shot on target. Fuat Ege showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rıfkı Rekin, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Savaşer Şikel hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafettin Adıyaman in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fuat Ege prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rıfkı Rekin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fuat Ege having to interfere. If Rıfkı Rekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rıfkı Rekin in the 84th minute of play forced GaLaTaSaRaY's goalkeeper Fuat Ege to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. GaLaTaSaRaY's Fuat Ege played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kıvanç Ersayın in the 85th minute of play. Fuat Ege made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafettin Adıyaman in the 87th minute of play. If Rıfkı Rekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 90 minutes of play, ARTVİN SK's Kıvanç Ersayın made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fuat Ege was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rıfkı Rekin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fuat Ege having to interfere.
