Harmancik's Mehmet Ferit Şahtürk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edip İlksen in the 22nd minute of play. Mehmet Ferit Şahtürk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alim Öksak in the 23rd minute of the match. Işıkalp Kaman hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. When Alim Öksak fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galatasarayburnu's protests and gave Alim Öksak a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th match minute, Galatasarayburnu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alim Öksak to maneuver through the defense. If Saltuk Beyhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. İldeniz Aygüneş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nurettin Zade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alim Öksak in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mehmet Ferit Şahtürk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Galatasarayburnu's Erenay Aliyar got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute of the match Kaptan Türegün shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but İldeniz Aygüneş showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hüsamettin Cenger was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 41 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, one of Galatasarayburnu:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Galatasarayburnu. After the first half Galatasarayburnu were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 51st minute of the game. One of Harmancik:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Galatasarayburnu:s goal. When the match had been going on for 53 minutes, Galatasarayburnu's Edip İlksen got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Mehmet Ferit Şahtürk. Alim Öksak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Mehmet Ferit Şahtürk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Harmancik's Kamer Serhan got a free kick in the 60th minute. After 64 played minutes Galatasarayburnu got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Emrah Rıfat. Mehmet Ferit Şahtürk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edip İlksen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Işıkalp Kaman in the 69th minute of play forced Galatasarayburnu's goalkeeper İldeniz Aygüneş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mehmet Emrah Rıfat hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Edip İlksen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mehmet Ferit Şahtürk was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. If Edip İlksen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Balaban Uluer's late challenge caught a Galatasarayburnu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Balaban Uluer helped the player get up and apologised. Balaban Uluer kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Güneri Civanbaht received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. İldeniz Aygüneş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd match minute, Galatasarayburnu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eray Tayfur to maneuver through the defense. Edip İlksen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mehmet Ferit Şahtürk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Harmancik's goal looked a bit too open when Edip İlksen came free, but Mehmet Ferit Şahtürk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mehmet Ferit Şahtürk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alim Öksak in the 96th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Galatasarayburnu walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
