The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Turkuaz SK's Şadi Urkan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tibet Akçasu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Zafer Pamiroğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 7 minutes into the game, Besiktask's Murat Çubuk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gürsel Ongunsu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A throw-in in the 12th minute of the game was made by İbrahim Ethem Türksan with Aysan Bayer as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The supporters of Besiktask booed when Turkuaz SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yaşar Cesur didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20thth minute of the game Zafer Pamiroğlu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Besiktask's Tibet Akçasu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Şadi Urkan kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Besiktask's goal looked a bit too open when Zafer Pamiroğlu came free, but Tibet Akçasu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Turkuaz SK booed when Besiktask was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Korhan Arslanoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 35 played minutes, Turkuaz SK's Emin Tomurcuk shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tibet Akçasu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Turkuaz SK reached it. Zafer Pamiroğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 卓沙浩's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tibet Akçasu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Tibet Akçasu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zafer Pamiroğlu in the 42nd minute. Tibet Akçasu made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Zafer Pamiroğlu sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zafer Pamiroğlu in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tibet Akçasu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tibet Akçasu was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Hüseyin Oskan. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Zafer Pamiroğlu made the kick off in the second half. If Şadi Urkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Zafer Pamiroğlu put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tibet Akçasu. 卓沙浩 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Tibet Akçasu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şadi Urkan in the 60th minute of play forced Besiktask's goalkeeper Tibet Akçasu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th match minute, Besiktask was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aysan Bayer to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Turkuaz SK's zone, Onur Arpacı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gürsel Ongunsu came out of the goal and Onur Arpacı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 69 played minutes, Turkuaz SK's Celil İldemir shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tibet Akçasu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Turkuaz SK reached it. In the 74th minute of the match Korhan Arslanoğlu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gürsel Ongunsu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Onur Arpacı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Gürsel Ongunsu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Zafer Pamiroğlu notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Besiktask's Tibet Akçasu. Tibet Akçasu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 87 minutes, Zafer Pamiroğlu made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Besiktask's Tibet Akçasu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Şadi Urkan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tibet Akçasu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Yaşar Cesur's late challenge caught a Besiktask's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yaşar Cesur helped the player get up and apologised. After 93 played minutes Turkuaz SK got a freekick which was hit by Yaşar Cesur. Zafer Pamiroğlu scored 4-1 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tibet Akçasu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
