Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Eyüp Rafih made the kick off which started today's match. 5 minutes into the game, Atilla Kapkin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sivasspor SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Basciftlik the free kick. Atilla Kapkin kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Sivasspor SK's Gökçen Lütfi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Sivasspor SK from getting a goal against them. After 11 played minutes Basciftlik got a freekick which was hit by Dursun Ali Alpsoy. Gürol İlksen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ertaç Hekimhanlı. Basciftlik's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Basciftlik's Ertaç Hekimhanlı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remzi Akboğa in the 16th minute of play. Ertaç Hekimhanlı came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Sivasspor SK's Remzi Akboğa. But to his dismay, Remzi Akboğa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ertaç Hekimhanlı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Metin Ayman, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 27th minute, Bahattin Koytak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ertaç Hekimhanlı was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Alaaddin Sümeroğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Basciftlik's supporters rose to their feet, but Alaaddin Sümeroğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gökçen Lütfi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sivasspor SK's Atilla Kapkin got his second yellow card of the match in the 35th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bahattin Koytak to make the kick off. When Ali Asım Özakın came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Basciftlik fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ali Asım Özakın couldn't finish the play. Alaaddin Sümeroğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gökçen Lütfi having to interfere. In the 56th minute Korkutalp Tulunay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ertaç Hekimhanlı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Alaaddin Sümeroğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ertaç Hekimhanlı made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Bahattin Koytak sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Sivasspor SK booed when Basciftlik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dinçer Kadi didn't get a good kick on the ball.
