With a left leg Sancar Yaltır saved MuRaT PaŞa SpoR from getting behind. If Rasim Çağaçar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind MuRaT PaŞa SpoR's goalkeeper Sancar Yaltır, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rasim Çağaçar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 11 minutes into the match, MuRaT PaŞa SpoR's goal looked a bit too open when Umur Sağıt came free, but Sancar Yaltır reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Beşir Tümkurt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. İstemihan Taşan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind GALATASARAY's goalkeeper İstemihan Taşan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 22 minutes, Lokman Dağhan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MuRaT PaŞa SpoR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lokman Dağhan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th match minute, GALATASARAY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Edip Uçbay to maneuver through the defense. After 32 played minutes, MuRaT PaŞa SpoR's Ceyhan Salat shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper İstemihan Taşan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MuRaT PaŞa SpoR reached it. In the 36th minute, Umur Sağıt made a precise shot to the right of Sancar Yaltır. MuRaT PaŞa SpoR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Sancar Yaltır made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Umur Sağıt in the 39th minute of play. When GALATASARAY's Umur Sağıt in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Sancar Yaltır dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Beşir Tümkurt was the one to do the kick off. Rasim Çağaçar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rasim Çağaçar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute Rasim Çağaçar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sancar Yaltır saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rasim Çağaçar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. İstemihan Taşan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beşir Tümkurt, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Sancar Yaltır made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Umur Sağıt sent off a good shot on target. After 71 minutes, Hüsamettin Uluğ made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. MuRaT PaŞa SpoR's Sancar Yaltır tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 79th match minute, GALATASARAY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berat Sabahaddin to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, MuRaT PaŞa SpoR's Cihat Hüsrev got a free kick in the 85th minute. When Cihat Hüsrev fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MuRaT PaŞa SpoR's protests and gave Cihat Hüsrev a yellow card for diving instead. After 94 played minutes MuRaT PaŞa SpoR got a freekick which was hit by Cihat Hüsrev. In the 95th minute of the match Berat Sabahaddin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sancar Yaltır showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The MuRaT PaŞa SpoR fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. GALATASARAY were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
