A collision led to GALATASARAY getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Yüksel Atik hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sezai Remiz in the 11th minute of play forced GALATASARAY's goalkeeper İstemihan Taşan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Mehmet Edip Uçbay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GALATASARAY's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave QOSER SPORTİF A.Ş the free kick. Mehmet Edip Uçbay kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Rasim Çağaçar scored 0-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Şükrü Tülek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rasim Çağaçar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rasim Çağaçar took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Şükrü Tülek. Şükrü Tülek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Umur Sağıt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute Rasim Çağaçar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şükrü Tülek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Şükrü Tülek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rasim Çağaçar's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. İstemihan Taşan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sezai Remiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The QOSER SPORTİF A.Ş players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. GALATASARAY were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rasim Çağaçar made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yüksel Atik got free with Şükrü Tülek in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of GALATASARAY booed when QOSER SPORTİF A.Ş was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alptuğ Dengizer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 57 minutes, Umur Sağıt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GALATASARAY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Umur Sağıt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Umur Sağıt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Rasim Çağaçar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rasim Çağaçar struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Şükrü Tülek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GALATASARAY. Şükrü Tülek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rasim Çağaçar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Umur Sağıt took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Şükrü Tülek. Şükrü Tülek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rasim Çağaçar in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Şükrü Tülek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yüksel Onbulak kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Umur Sağıt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Şükrü Tülek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rasim Çağaçar in the 86th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rasim Çağaçar in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Şükrü Tülek saved QOSER SPORTİF A.Ş from getting behind. If Umur Sağıt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Umur Sağıt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Şükrü Tülek made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Rasim Çağaçar managed to get in a good position for a shot. GALATASARAY's supporters rose to their feet, but Rasim Çağaçar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Şükrü Tülek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. GALATASARAY's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
