Bahattin Koytak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bahattin Koytak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Kandemir İpekdal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sivasspor SK's Bahattin Koytak got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remzi Akboğa in the 13th minute of play forced Okmeydani's goalkeeper Kandemir İpekdal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kandemir İpekdal made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Bahattin Koytak sent off a good shot on target. Gökmen Oyanalp kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Gökçen Lütfi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Semih Bayram, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bahattin Koytak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kandemir İpekdal having to interfere. Mehmet Osman İkram kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Remzi Akboğa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gökçen Lütfi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nusrettin Kudretullah in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Remzi Akboğa was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Remzi Akboğa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sivasspor SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Remzi Akboğa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mustafa Orhan İkbal hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. A collision led to Okmeydani getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Saruhan Olguner hit a great ball. Gürsel Özbilgin charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gürsel Özbilgin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Okmeydani's Gürsel Özbilgin got a free kick in the 63rd minute. The supporters of Okmeydani booed when Sivasspor SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Menderes Eraslan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute Nusrettin Kudretullah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gökçen Lütfi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76thth minute of the game Bahattin Koytak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Okmeydani's Kandemir İpekdal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Okmeydani players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
