Akşemseddin Ruhi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hilmi Sabahaddin having to make a save. In the 21st match minute, Marmaris Akademi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hürkan Cebe to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the match, Uluç Hasanbeyli notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Eldivan's Arda Baybars Sav. Arda Baybars Sav was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Marmaris Akademi getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Arif Oğuz Tuğtaşı hit a great ball. Marmaris Akademi's Hilmi Sabahaddin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Akşemseddin Ruhi in the 34th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Vural Tamerk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eldivan's supporters rose to their feet, but Vural Tamerk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hilmi Sabahaddin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Akşemseddin Ruhi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Hilmi Sabahaddin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute Akşemseddin Ruhi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilmi Sabahaddin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emrullah Selahaddin was the one to do the kick off. If Cemil Birge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 53rd minute, Eldivan's Akşemseddin Ruhi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hilmi Sabahaddin. Hilmi Sabahaddin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. After having played for 57 minutes, Akşemseddin Ruhi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eldivan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Akşemseddin Ruhi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hürkan Cebe hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Akşemseddin Ruhi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hilmi Sabahaddin having to make a save. Akşemseddin Ruhi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marmaris Akademi's Hilmi Sabahaddin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Marmaris Akademi from getting a goal against them. If Cemil Birge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eldivan's Cemil Birge got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Akşemseddin Ruhi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Hilmi Sabahaddin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aşır Talayman kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Eldivan's Vural Tamerk shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 82nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Hilmi Sabahaddin but with some difficulty. In the 84th minute, Akşemseddin Ruhi made a precise shot to the right of Hilmi Sabahaddin. Marmaris Akademi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Akşemseddin Ruhi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eldivan's supporters rose to their feet, but Akşemseddin Ruhi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hilmi Sabahaddin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eldivan's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
