But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cemal Karakan couldn't finish the play. 30 minutes into the game, Lefter Zahir was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hatay JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Perre Antique the free kick. After 30 played minutes Hatay JK got a freekick which was hit by Lefter Zahir. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Samet Bürge managed to get in a good position for a shot. Perre Antique's supporters rose to their feet, but Samet Bürge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baybars Bilginer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Samet Bürge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baybars Bilginer made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Korhan Geylan sent off a good shot on target. In the 37th minute Perre Antique were awarded a corner. Samet Bürge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baybars Bilginer having to interfere. The supporters of Perre Antique booed when Hatay JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cevahir Hikmet didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cemal Karakan made a kick off. In the 55th minute of the match Perre Antique got a corner. Hatay JK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Şeref Ozansu ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Perre Antique's Şeref Ozansu to fire away a dangerous shot which Baybars Bilginer despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cemal Karakan during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cemal Karakan hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Samet Bürge in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baybars Bilginer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Baybars Bilginer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Korhan Geylan in the 69th minute of play. If Samet Bürge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samet Bürge might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baybars Bilginer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Samet Bürge ran back to his position shaking his head. Baybars Bilginer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samet Bürge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Perre Antique's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
