An unexpectedly hard shot by Tuncer Buğra in the 7th minute of play forced Kocaköy's goalkeeper Seyit Bahçeli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the game, Korgun JK's Tuncer Buğra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hasan Hüseyin Talu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Feyyaz Bilgen fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Korgun JK's protests and gave Feyyaz Bilgen a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Kocaköy booed when Korgun JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feyyaz Bilgen didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Naim İlhan from long distance, 40 minutes into the match, got Mehmet Edip Nasip's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Baransel İltekin kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The long shot by İhsan Yoruk in the 44th minute really tested Mehmet Edip Nasip's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Seyit Bahçeli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tuncer Buğra, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Tuncer Buğra took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Seyit Bahçeli. Seyit Bahçeli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rahman Adahan made a kick off. Seyit Bahçeli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orbay Kongurtay in the 53rd minute. Seyit Bahçeli made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Orbay Kongurtay sent off a good shot on target. Seyit Bahçeli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tuncer Buğra, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute.
