Mustafa Emrah Akçasu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Şükrü Bilgen in the 22nd minute. With a little luck, EsEnGuCu's Mustafa Emrah Akçasu got control of the ball when Şükrü Bilgen tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gaziantep's Şerif Kargin got a free kick in the 37th minute. Şükrü Bilgen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mustafa Emrah Akçasu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Yaşar Münib in the 43rd minute of play. In the 47th minute Celal Vural shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yetkiner Perva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celal Vural was the one to do the kick off. EsEnGuCu's Mert Erdemir couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 66th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Gaziantep. Mustafa Yaşar Münib fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Emrah Akçasu having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Mustafa Yaşar Münib managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gaziantep's supporters rose to their feet, but Mustafa Yaşar Münib was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
