After 4 minutes, Rıdvan Yurtseven mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alpu JK and the Ardahan JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Alpu JK's Rıdvan Yurtseven got a free kick in the 5th minute. Mansur Barkın made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yıldırım Uruk in the 9th minute of play. With a little luck, Alpu JK's Abidin Onay got control of the ball when Metehan Erakıncı tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yıldırım Uruk hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Ardahan JK's Metehan Erakıncı got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mansur Barkın showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osman Nuri Akçal, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The supporters of Alpu JK booed when Ardahan JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seyfullah Aktekin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nuralp Orhon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mansur Barkın. Ardahan JK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ardahan JK's Seyfullah Aktekin got a free kick in the 19th minute. Seyfullah Aktekin hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, Nuralp Orhon sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ardahan JK's Mansur Barkın didn't even have to move. In the 26th minute, Osman Nuri Akçal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Alpu JK booed when Ardahan JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seyfullah Aktekin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Ardahan JK's goal looked a bit too open when Seyrani Devrim came free, but Mansur Barkın reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Osman Nuri Akçal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mansur Barkın was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Göksel Sabir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Göksel Sabir stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Ardahan JK's goalkeeper Mansur Barkın had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Osman Nuri Akçal. Ardahan JK's Mansur Barkın played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osman Nuri Akçal in the 53rd minute of play. Osman Nuri Akçal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hayati Yürükoğlu's late challenge caught a Ardahan JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hayati Yürükoğlu helped the player get up and apologised. After 56 played minutes Alpu JK got a freekick which was hit by Hayati Yürükoğlu. During the 60th minute of the match Seyfullah Aktekin completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Seyfullah Aktekin a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Mansur Barkın made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Seyrani Devrim sent off a good shot on target. Osman Nuri Akçal might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mansur Barkın. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Osman Nuri Akçal ran back to his position shaking his head. Seyrani Devrim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Seyrani Devrim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Osman Nuri Akçal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Mansur Barkın tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Osman Nuri Akçal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mansur Barkın having to interfere. In the 82nd minute Metehan Erakıncı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abidin Onay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mansur Barkın showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osman Nuri Akçal, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Seyrani Devrim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Mansur Barkın tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Alpu JK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ardahan JK.
