Songurhan Atasoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Erik Löfgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Songurhan Atasoy was a little too slow when Mihail Burdulea got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-0. Tolunay Günsel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orhun Ekin in the 15th minute of play. With his leg Songurhan Atasoy managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Sivrice FK's Mihail Burdulea fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Sivrice FK's Jan-Erik Löfgren in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye İslamistan SK.'s goalie prevented a goal. Tolunay Günsel came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by İslamistan SK.'s Orhun Ekin. But to his dismay, Orhun Ekin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 2-1 became the score in the 29th minute when Mihail Burdulea elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 34 minutes of play, Sivrice FK's Mihail Burdulea made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Songurhan Atasoy was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Sivrice FK getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Ahmet Rıfat Teksoy hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, Sivrice FK's goal looked a bit too open when Orhun Ekin came free, but Tolunay Günsel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orhun Ekin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolunay Günsel having to interfere. Sivrice FK's Tolunay Günsel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vedat İleri in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute Orhun Ekin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolunay Günsel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orhun Ekin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Tolunay Günsel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jan-Erik Löfgren made a kick off. The supporters of İslamistan SK. booed when Sivrice FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihail Burdulea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tolunay Günsel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orhun Ekin in the 54th minute of the match. A collision led to Sivrice FK getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Ahmet Rıfat Teksoy hit a great ball. Tolunay Günsel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orhun Ekin, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After 64 minutes, Korkut Değirmencioğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sivrice FK and the İslamistan SK. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 65 played minutes Sivrice FK got a freekick which was hit by Korkut Değirmencioğlu. Songurhan Atasoy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the İslamistan SK. defense, Jan-Erik Löfgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Songurhan Atasoy. The İslamistan SK. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Songurhan Atasoy should have stopped the shot. Vedat İleri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sivrice FK fans cheered their team off the field, for while İslamistan SK. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
