Yiğit Özal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Metehan Erakıncı went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ataol Arıhan during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fethi Adalıoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mansur Barkın having to interfere. After 31 played minutes Göksel Sabir rounded EZELSPOR's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. The EZELSPOR fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when EZELSPOR's Fethi Adalıoğlu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mansur Barkın took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdullatif Özkurt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 38 played minutes Ardahan JK got a freekick which was hit by Atahan Özduru. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdullatif Özkurt in the 39th minute of play forced Ardahan JK's goalkeeper Mansur Barkın to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Abdullatif Özkurt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mansur Barkın. Ardahan JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abdullatif Özkurt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fethi Adalıoğlu in the 46th minute of play forced Ardahan JK's goalkeeper Mansur Barkın to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee ignored Ardahan JK's protests and gave Erdi Kuddusi a yellow card for diving instead. Erdi Kuddusi kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Mansur Barkın stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fethi Adalıoğlu's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Seyfullah Aktekin's late challenge caught a EZELSPOR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Seyfullah Aktekin helped the player get up and apologised. After 59 played minutes Ardahan JK got a freekick which was hit by Seyfullah Aktekin. Mansur Barkın didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 61st minute, which inside left pole to 2-3. Fethi Adalıoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Abdullatif Özkurt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee ignored Ardahan JK's protests and gave Ertuğrul Akasma a yellow card for diving instead. The referee gave EZELSPOR a penalty, 99 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mehdi Çoğaş, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ardahan JK's Mansur Barkın. 2-5. EZELSPOR's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
