An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdurrahman Bostan in the 42nd minute of play forced Günesli's goalkeeper Hayati Seci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hayati Seci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tansel Aysan in the 47th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Korhan Özgurcan to make the kick off. Hayati Seci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tansel Aysan in the 54th minute of play. Günesli's Hayati Seci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdurrahman Bostan in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Akif Biçim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute, Tekin İrem made a precise shot to the right of Hayati Seci. Günesli's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 62 minutes into the match, Tekin İrem notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Günesli's Hayati Seci. Hayati Seci was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Cermik JK getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. In the 89th minute Muammer Sanal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gani Tanuğur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Bumin Gümüşcü came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Günesli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bumin Gümüşcü couldn't finish the play. Aytek Vecih fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gani Tanuğur having to interfere.
