Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hikmet Tezkan started the match with the kick off. Semavi Metin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Semavi Metin in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Asaf Mithat saved İzmir Gücü from getting behind. In the 12thth minute of the game Hikmet Tezkan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kadıköy Futbol Klübü's Balamir Sarif was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Güntekin Durualp kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Hüsamettin Çelikhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 20 played minutes Kadıköy Futbol Klübü got a freekick which was hit by Kadri Akmaner. Yenal Oyal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Balamir Sarif tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Semavi Metin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Asaf Mithat was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Hikmet Tezkan might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Balamir Sarif. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hikmet Tezkan ran back to his position shaking his head. Asaf Mithat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fehmi Tonguç, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute, Semavi Metin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fehmi Tonguç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Asaf Mithat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of İzmir Gücü booed when Kadıköy Futbol Klübü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kadri Akmaner didn't get a good kick on the ball. 48 minutes into the match, Kadıköy Futbol Klübü's goalkeeper Balamir Sarif had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yenal Oyal.

Asaf Mithat was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. 61 minutes into the game, İzmir Gücü's Yenal Oyal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Balamir Sarif made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Kadıköy Futbol Klübü's Semavi Metin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Asaf Mithat. That made the score 1-2 after 67 minutes of play. Yenal Oyal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Asaf Mithat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Semavi Metin in the 83rd minute of play. Balamir Sarif took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yenal Oyal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the game, Gökberk Öztaylan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. İzmir Gücü's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kadıköy Futbol Klübü the free kick. After 91 played minutes İzmir Gücü got a freekick which was hit by Gökberk Öztaylan. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Kadıköy Futbol Klübü eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
